Day 25 Update

Good Morning! I am finally getting back up to date! I have about 15 minutes until the next feeding. Harry and Jon are rushing around getting ready to leave for the pumpkin picking trip. Harry is very excited; Jon? Not so much, lol. But they should have a good time. The farm they are going to is in the Bronx and has apples and pumpkins - jack-o-lanterns here we come!

I just called to check on Golda. She had a good night. The only episodes she has had were of desaturation of her blood oxygen and then she only needed to be suctioned (have her saliva suctioned) and then her levels came right back up. They have increased her feeds to 9 ml for four feeds, then at 10 pm tonight she will increase to 10 ml!!! So nice that they are going to increase her faster than 1 ml a day. She is now weighing 1314 g (2 lbs 14.34 oz.) - closing in on the 3 lb mark! I don't know how today will shape up but I am hoping that I will make it to the hospital tonight at some point to visit her.

Leah and Micah were enjoying their second night home together. Daddy sat on the couch last night holding both of them and they migrated closer together so they were touching. It was very cute to see Micah patting Leah's head and Leah reaching for her brother. Sometimes they even answer each other's squeaks.

According to Daddy they weren't the best eaters last night. Micah didn't finish his bottle and Leah took forever finishing hers. Big thanks are in order for Daddy too - he took both the 11 om and the 2 am feedings so I go to sleep through both! When I got them at 5 am though Micah was trying to eat his hands he was so hungry! And for the 8 am feeding Micah ate 90 ml and Leah ate 70 ml! They both looked quite content afterwards and fell asleep shortly. They are really starting to spend some time after most feedings awake and alert - looking all around and taking everything in. It's kind of nice to be able to look into their eyes (both sets blue, by the way).

Okay, I will try to use one of my breaks in between feedings today to post some photos!
