We got the results for Baby A today. The chromosomes appear to be normal (phew) and it's a girl! That means that we are expecting two girls and a boy. I am very excited that we will have two girls and two boys, Jon is very apprehensive about two little girls ganging up on him, and Harry thinks they should have all been boys!
We have our next ultrasound scheduled for Tuesday (as long as I don't have to go in for Jury Duty) and we will post images then.
In case you haven't heard, we got the results back from the CVS for Babies B and C on Friday. They are both normal (phew). Baby B is a boy and Baby C is a girl! We are still awaiting some more detailed studies for some very rare conditions, but we don't really expect them to be positive. We went back yesterday for the CVS on Baby A. I was very thankful that Dr. Stone was able to get the sample on the very first try this time! It was nowhere near as painful as last time because of that and because Baby A is anterior (on the front of the uterus). They also measured my cervix and it is completely closed and 4.2cm long - very good.
I called my MFM's office (Maternal Fetal Medicine specialist OB) to update them on the results and get my glucose tolerance test results. They were normal so no worries there. My next appointment on the 27th may be pre-empted by jury duty.
