Hi Everyone. Sorry for the delay, I am running a little late this morning so this will be brief. Golda is doing well in spite of her having a few episodes this morning of desats (when her blood oxygen level dropped). The nurse suctioned her saliva each time and she came right back up. I mentioned that she should check the Anderson tube and make sure it wasn't clogged. She thought it was a good suggestion and was going to do that. At 1 pm Golda will be taken for her upper GI series x-rays with contrast. Hopefully we will get results today! She now weighs 1105 g (2 lbs 6.97 oz).
Leah is now weighing 1510 g (3 lbs. 5.26 oz) and eating 28 ml of fortified breast milk by bottle for every feeding. She came out of her isolette yesterday for us to feed her and ate like a champ - and burped like a sailor!
Micah is up to 40 ml of breast milk and is now taking both multivitamins and iron. He weighs 1960 g (4 lbs. 5.13 oz.) and is doing great. Daddy fed him yesterday while I looked up his car seat to make sure there weren't any recalls. He didn't have his car seat challenge yet, but should get it today. Also, the nurse said I could try putting him to the breast today! So, I am heading out to make sure I am there in time for the 2 pm feeding!
